Become an iKayak Volunteer

You can sign up to become a trainer for Flint’s first inclusive kayaking program, iKayak.  A Partnership between The Disability Network, Flint River Watershed Coalition, and the Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission has provided this unique opportunity for adaptive recreation in Genesee County.  iKayak is implemented under the direction of a Certified Recreational Therapist and a Certified Adaptive Paddling Instructor. Inclusive Kayak Workshops will be available this summer at Genesee County Parks Bluegill Boat Launch. All equipment, training and one on one support is included.

For ages 16 and up of all abilities.
Cost: Free
