IKayak Workshop

iKayak is Flint’s first inclusive kayaking program. A Partnership between The Disability Network, Flint River Watershed Coalition, and the Genesee County Parks has provided this unique opportunity for adaptive recreation in Genesee County.  This program, under the direction of a Certified Adaptive Paddle Instructor and a Certified Recreational Therapist, will introduce people with disabilities and their families to the wonderful sport of kayaking on beautiful Mott Lake at Bluegill Boat Launch, which has an EZ dock for adaptive access. Equipment training and 1:1 support included!

For individuals with disabilities and their families, ages 12 and up.

Time: 1 – 7:30pm (45 minute session throughout) Cost: $20 suggested donation.  If donation is a barrier to participation, please waive donation by using promo code: FREEKAYAK
