We are proud to share the impact we made this past year, thanks to the support of our community!
2025 was full of many exciting changes, including kicking off a new strategic plan, a brand refresh to have an accessible logo, and a new TDN office!
Over the next few years, our priorities will focus on sustainable operations to support current and future success, accessible and inclusive programming, and advocacy and outreach.

Updated Mission, Vision, & Values
Mission: We support and empower people with disabilities to live independently in Genesee County through person-centered services, advocacy, and collaboration.
Vision: People with disabilities experience true belonging in our community.

Program Highlights
1,118 total consumers served
4,510 total hours spent serving our consumers & community
49 ramps installed in our community
2 home modifications made in our community
10 individuals increased their independent living skills
14 individuals transitioned out of nursing homes
Advocacy Highlights
- Partnered with the University of Michigan-Flint on Crip Camp watch party and Neurodiversity Night
- Representation on area councils to help advocate for people with disabilities and build coalition, including: FIA Accessibility Council, Flint/Genesee County Continuum of Care, Olmstead Coalition, Protect MI Care Coalition, and the Social Determinants of Health Solutions Lab, Flint & Genesee County Chamber Disability Works Committee, among others
Community Highlights
- Facilitated 7 DEI trainings and 2 Accessibility Walkthroughs, making our community more accessible and inclusive for all!
- Hosted annual ADA Day Celebration with 250 guests
